Chung Kyo-sun is Vice Chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group. He also serves as Chairman and CEO of Hyundai Home Shopping.

He supports Chung Ji-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group, overseeing overall group management and focusing on the group’s transformation into a “total life care company.”

He was born on October 31, 1974, in Seoul, as the second son of Chung Mong-keun, Honorary Chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group.

He graduated from the Department of International Trade at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and completed an MBA program at Adelphi University in the United States.

He joined Hyundai Department Store and worked in the Management Control Team and the Planning and Coordination Headquarters. He later served as Director in charge of planning, Head of the Strategic Planning Headquarters, and was promoted to Vice Chairman of Hyundai Department Store and Vice Chairman of Hyundai Green Food.

As his father, Honorary Chairman Chung Mong-keun, stepped down from the front line of management, he opened the third-generation management era of Hyundai Department Store Group together with his older brother, Chung Ji-sun, Chairman of the group.

Along with Chairman Chung Ji-sun, he oversees Hyundai Department Store as well as other distribution-related affiliates of Hyundai Department Store Group, including Hyundai Livart, Hyundai Everdigm, and Hyundai Green Food.

He is described as modest. He is known for having a bold and decisive style. He has an excellent sense of art.
