He graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and joined Lucky Metal, now LS MnM, as a researcher. He later moved to LS Cable & System, where he served as Head of Materials Development and Head of the Aluminum Business Team.

After being appointed CEO of LS Alsco, he concurrently served as CEO of LS Materials and LS EVEC.

He has spent more than 30 years within the LS Group, building his career in the metals and materials sectors.

He is known for strong execution.
