Kang Ee-gu is vice president and CEO of Kolon Mobility Group’s Automotive Business Division. He concurrently serves as CEO of Kolon Benit.

At Kolon Mobility Group, he is restructuring the lineup of imported car brands and expanding sales and maintenance services using customer and vehicle data.

At Kolon Benit, he is focusing on shifting the business structure, which has been heavily weighted toward IT distribution, toward artificial intelligence transformation (AX) businesses.

He was born on May 2, 1967.

He graduated from Korea University with a degree in statistics and earned a master’s degree in computer science from New York University in the United States.

He joined holding company Kolon and handled group strategy at its Strategic Planning Office.

He moved to Kolon Industries as an executive director, where he was responsible for colorless polyimide (CPI) film, and was later promoted to vice president, overseeing new businesses including fuel cells.

He led KFNT, a Kolon Group chemical company that manufactures plastic films and synthetic fibers, and G-Bridge, a software developer funded by Kolon Benit.

He was appointed CEO of Kolon Benit in 2023 and has concurrently headed Kolon Mobility Group’s Automotive Business Division since 2025.
