After Daewoo E&C was incorporated into Jungheung Group, he served as advisor to Daewoo E&C and head of the Management Support Division and senior executive vice president before being appointed CEO in 2024.

He is the son-in-law of Chung Chang-sun, founder of Jungheung Group, and the brother-in-law of Jung Won-ju, chairman of Daewoo E&C.
