After majoring in computer engineering in college, he completed an MBA program at Hanbat University Graduate School of Business.
He worked at Hanul Robotics and Future Robot as a researcher, and for more than 20 years he has been active on the front lines of the robotics industry, moving across various fields including product planning, marketing, and sales.
He joined Hurim Robotics, the first robotics company to be listed on KOSDAQ, as Head of the Planning Division and was appointed CEO in 2021.
He has broad capabilities that span both technology and business in the robotics field.
He is expanding the company’s portfolio into new business areas such as last-mile autonomous mobile robots.
He raised expectations for government policies related to the robotics industry and for cooperation with SK Telecom, but negative issues emerged when he was subject to a search and seizure related to Sambu Construction by the special prosecutor investigating Kim Keon-hee.
