He was born on December 25, 1964.
He graduated from the Department of Medicine at Chonnam National University and earned both a Master's and Doctorate in Medicine from the university's graduate school.
He has worked as a visiting researcher at the National Cancer Center in Tokyo, Japan, and as a visiting professor at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute in the United States.
In 2010, he founded Park Cell Bio.
He currently serves as a professor in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Chonnam National University Medical School and at Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital, where he also holds the position of director at the Cancer Immunotherapy Research Center.
In addition, he is focusing on diversifying the company's revenue structure by pursuing mergers and acquisitions to drive research and development investments.
