Lee Sunghyun is the CEO of OpenEdge Technologies.

He was born on January 26, 1976.

He graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Seoul National University, where he also earned a master’s degree and completed the doctoral program.

He began his career at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and later worked as a researcher in the SoC development team at Samsung Electronics’ LSI Business Division.

In 2017, he co-founded OpenEdge Technologies.

The company is the only semiconductor design asset (IP) developer in Korea. It became the first in the world to create an artificial intelligence (AI) integrated solution that combines NPU (neural processing unit) IP with memory system IP to supply computational data.

In 2026, it launched the world’s first semiconductor IP brokerage platform.
