Lim Jin-dal is the CEO of HS Hyosung Advanced Materials.

He is actively pushing into the new silicon anode materials business. He is also focusing on expanding production capacity for tire cord, the company’s core product, and on improving performance in the carbon fiber business.

He was born on May 18, 1959.

He graduated from Yongsan High School in Seoul and earned a degree in chemical engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.

He joined Dongyang Polyester (now HS Hyosung Advanced Materials) and worked as a general manager in charge of PU sales for nylon yarn at Hyosung (now HS Hyosung). He later served as an executive director for textile sales in Jiaxing, China, executive vice president in charge of tire cord sales, and head of the industrial materials division.

He then held positions including deputy head of the strategy headquarters at Hyosung, head of the management strategy office, and head of the tire reinforcement PU at HS Hyosung Advanced Materials, before being appointed vice chairman and CEO of HS Hyosung The Class, the domestic dealer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

In 2025, he was promoted to president and appointed CEO of HS Hyosung Advanced Materials.

He is recognized for contributing to the expansion of the Chinese market based on his global perspective.
