He worked as head of the Management Diagnosis Team at LS Cable & System. At LS, the group’s holding company, he served as head of the management diagnosis and planning diagnosis division. After moving to LS Metal, he worked as head of the Management Support Division and chief financial officer.

After serving as head of the Management Support Division at LS Metal, Moon was appointed CEO of LS Metal in 2021.

He returned to LS and took charge of the Management Value Creation Division, and in March 2026, he was appointed CEO of LS I&D.

Following the withdrawal of the IPO, he faces the key task of securing the funds needed to support timely capacity expansion amid a boom in the specialty winding wire market.
