Nam Ki-yean is the CEO of Qurient.
He was born in May 1971.
He graduated from the Department of Biology at Korea University. He earned a master’s degree in biology from Korea University Graduate School and a Ph.D. in computational chemistry from Rutgers University in the United States.
He built research experience at global big pharmaceutical companies, serving as a researcher at Novartis in the United States and as a senior researcher and project manager at Merck.
He served as Head of Strategic Planning and the PM Team at the Institut Pasteur Korea.
In 2008, he founded Qurient.
He has the goal of establishing Qurient as a “clinical-stage biotech” company that conducts global clinical trials and develops innovative new drugs.
He must secure the commercial visibility of clinical outcomes and manage the financial burden that comes from a long-term R&D structure.
