Nam Yong-hyeon is the CEO of Edge Foundry.

He was born on October 18, 1963, in Daejeon.

He graduated from the Department of Physics at Dongguk University and earned a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the Graduate School of Industrial Information at Kyung Hee University.

He began his career at Samsung SDI. After joining Donghee Industrial, he was responsible for developing financial devices, researching and developing automotive electronic components, and later served as head of the Electronics Research Institute. In 2003, he was appointed CEO and President of Hyper Information & Communication. In 2006, he founded Truewin, now known as Edge Foundry.

In 2025, he absorbed and merged Hanwha Intelligence, a joint venture with Hanwha Systems.

He succeeded in localizing automotive sensors that had previously relied entirely on imports, and developed Edge Foundry into a small but strong company with the only original displacement sensor technology in Korea.

He serves as the inaugural Chairman of the Korea Sensor Industry Association and as Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation at the Korean Sensors Society.
