Park Gee-won is the Chairman and CEO of Doosan Enerbility (formerly Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction) and also serves as Chairman of the Board.
Together with President and COO Jung Yeon-in and President Park Sang-hyun, Head of the Finance Management Division, he leads Doosan Enerbility under a three-person co-CEO system.
He is focused on transforming Doosan Enerbility’s business structure with an emphasis on eco-friendly initiatives.
Born on March 20, 1965, in Seoul, he is the second son of Park Yong-gon, Honorary Chairman of Doosan Group.
After graduating from the Department of Business Administration at Yonsei University, he earned an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University in the United States and began his career at Oriental Brewery.
He worked at Doosan Corporation and Doosan Trading before moving to Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, where he was appointed CEO in 2008.
He later served as Vice Chairman of Doosan Engine and, in 2016, became Vice Chairman of Doosan Group. That same year, he was appointed Chairman and CEO of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction (now Doosan Enerbility).
He is considered the leading candidate to succeed his elder brother, Park Jeong-won, as the next Chairman of Doosan Group.
He has devoted significant effort to fostering new businesses, designating gas turbines, hydrogen, renewable energy, and next-generation nuclear power as the company’s four core growth sectors.
A principled leader who values harmony, he is known for his personal attention to employees’ important life events, such as weddings and funerals.
