Life Summary
Park Jong-hwan is the CEO (Vice President) of HD Hyundai Energy Solutions.

He concurrently serves as CEO of Taebaek Wind Power and Changjuk Wind Power.

He has been focusing on growing the company into a “total energy solutions” enterprise that encompasses all renewable energy sources, including wind power.

Park was born on November 23, 1970.

He graduated from Yonsei University, majoring in Law.

He began his career at Hyundai Engineering & Construction, later moving to Hyundai Heavy Industries. There, he served as Executive Director (Senior Managing Director) in charge of the Asset Management Team within the Planning Office. He subsequently held positions including Executive Director and Head of the Asset Management Team at Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, the group’s intermediate holding company, and later became Executive Vice President overseeing the Asset Division.

In 2018, he was appointed CEO of three companies: Taebaek Gwinemi Wind Power, Taebaek Wind Power, and Changjuk Wind Power.

After one year, he moved to Hyundai Electric, which had been spun off from Hyundai Heavy Industries, where he served as Head of the Medium- and Low-Voltage Division and Head of the Power Distribution Sales Division.

He later returned to Hyundai Heavy Industries, concurrently serving as Vice President and Head of the Asset Division and Head of the Asset Planning Office at Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering.

In August 2021, he was appointed CEO (Vice President) of Hyundai Energy Solutions.

He also serves as Chairman of the Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association and Chairman of the Korea Renewable Energy Association, a non-profit organization.
