Son Myeon-seok is the CEO of Wemade Max. He serves as a co-CEO of Wemade alongside Lee Ki-il, jointly leading the company.

Born in April 1975, Son graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Archaeology and Art History.

He previously worked at NCSoft, where he served as the lead game designer for Lineage Eternal and head of the world design team for AION. He also worked at NetGames (now Nexon Games) as the producer of “V4.”

In 2020, he founded the game development studio Madengine and led the development of “Night Crows,” which achieved significant success both domestically and internationally.

Through his connection with former Wemade CEO Jang Hyun-guk, Madengine became an affiliate of Wemade. After Jang stepped down, Son also took on the role of CEO of Madengine.

He now faces the challenge of delivering tangible results in Wemade’s blockchain technology business.
