He served as Head of the Americas Route Team in the Passenger Route Sales Department, Head of the Passenger Team at the Korea Regional Headquarters (Assistant Vice President), and Head of the Moscow Branch and CIS Regional Headquarters.

He later worked as Head of the Southeast Asia Regional Headquarters (Vice President), Vice President in charge of the Passenger Route Sales Department, and Head of the Americas Route Headquarters at Korean Air, before serving as Executive Vice President and Head of the Passenger Business Division.

In January 2025, he moved to Asiana Airlines, was promoted to Vice President, and was appointed CEO.

He is a passenger route and sales expert who worked at Korean Air for nearly 40 years.
