Till Scheer is the President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Korea. He also serves as the President and CEO of Volkswagen Korea.

He was born on January 6, 1966, in Gernsbach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Scheer began his automotive career as a manager at Renault Germany. He later joined FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) as a sales coordinator and served as a director in vehicle sales before moving to Volkswagen Group Italy, where he was responsible for the commercial vehicle division and group sales and network management.

He went on to serve as Head of Bentley and Bugatti operations at Volkswagen Group China and as Head of Beijing Volkswagen Import. In 2016, he was appointed President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Japan.

In October 2021, he took office as President and CEO of Audi Volkswagen Group Korea.

Afterward, he was elected Chairman of the Japan Automobile Importers Association (JAIA) and later of the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

He changed the company’s name to Volkswagen Group Korea and has since focused on restoring the brand’s trust damaged by the dieselgate scandal and expanding its presence in the electric vehicle market.

With nearly 35 years of experience in marketing and sales in the automobile industry, Scheer is recognized as an expert with a deep understanding of Asian markets.
