Yoon Suk-mynn is the chairman of Taeyoung Group.

Following the decision by its affiliate Taeyoung Construction to enter a corporate workout program, he is concentrating his efforts on restoring the company’s financial stability and normal operations.

He was born on October 9, 1964, in Seoul, as the only son of Yoon Se-young, the founder of Taeyoung Group.

He graduated from Whimoon High School and earned a degree in chemical engineering from Seoul National University. He went on to obtain a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the same university and later completed an MBA at Harvard Business School in the United States.

He began his professional career at Taeyoung Construction.

In 2000, he was appointed CEO of SBSI, and in 2004, he became president of both Taeyoung Construction and Taeyoung Industry.

After serving as CEO of SBS Media Holdings, he was appointed chairman of the board of TY Holdings in 2020, when Taeyoung Group shifted to a holding company structure.

He also served as president of the Korea Ski Association.

He is regarded as modest, diligent, and highly disciplined in self-management.
