Yu Chang-soo is Vice Chairman and CEO of Eugene Investment & Securities.

He leads the company together with President Ko Kyung-mo under a co-CEO system.

While President Ko is in charge of internal management, including sales and risk control, Yu oversees overall management strategy across Eugene Investment & Securities and other financial affiliates within the Eugene Group.

He was born on May 21, 1963, in Seoul, as the third son of Yu Jae-pil, Honorary Chairman of Eugene Group.

He graduated from Kyungseong High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Korea University. He later completed an MBA program at Northern Illinois University in the United States.

After serving as CEO of Eugene Development, he became CEO of Youngyang Confectionery in 2000.

He later held positions as CEO of Isunsan Industry, CEO of Eugene Group’s Cement Division, and Vice Chairman of Korea Cement before being appointed Vice Chairman and CEO of Seoul Securities (now Eugene Investment & Securities) in 2007.

He has focused on strengthening Eugene Investment & Securities’ position as a leading mid-sized securities firm.

Yu is known for his caring nature and proactive communication with people around him.
